Eid Mubarak & OOTD

Salam!

Eid Mubarak to all my readers. I hope you all have enjoyed yourselves this Eid and celebrated your month long fast with your families and loved ones. This Eid has been bittersweet for most of us I would say, It's not easy to celebrate and enjoy our activities knowing our brothers and sisters in middle east are suffering, but I read a really powerful post about how despite everything Palestinians are going through, they will still be celebrating Eid, they won't let their oppressors ruin this celebration for them and it sent me shivers just thinking about all the courage, power and strength my people in Palestine have. And Inshallah they will continue to have this strength.

My Eid started off with the Eid prayer as always, which is the best part and most important of Eid. My family then went to have a good ol' Canadian breakfast at Tim Hortons, then spoiled my little brother rotten at Toys'R'Us. Seeing as we don't have family in Canada, we usually don't get any visitors on the first day of Eid; as our friends are off visiting their own families but this Eid we had a few friends visit us and it was the most heart warming feeling ever. Later in the evening we went to Paramount Fine Foods and had dinner and me and my mama left my brothers and had ourselves a nice cup of coffee at a cafe. We came home and more visitors surprised us and it was just amazing to have a full house on the first day of Eid.

Anyways, that's my little summary of Eid, I thought I would do an outfit of the day post to share my Eid outfit. So enjoy xx.
