11 Questions. Your Turn.

I have been nominated by one of my favourite bloggers Laila for the Liebster Award where she has given me 11 questions to answer and I have to nominate a few bloggers to answer some more questions. So please check out Laila's answers to her questions and the rest of her beautiful blog and before I move on, here are the blogs I nominate to answer the questions I have at the bottom.

My 11 Questions

What were your expectations before geting into the blogging comunity?

I was honestly expecting no one to acknowledge, find or even comment on my blog. So I guess I wasn’t expecting much other than self-fulfillment, and it makes me so happy to know that even one person reads my blog.

Has blogging changed you in any way?

I think so. I think it has made me a much more creative person. I look at everything in an artistic manner now. It has made me want to share the little and big joys I experience and blogging has reminded me of my love for personal writing that I’ve had since I was a kid.

 What are you passionate about?

Other then all this girly stuff that I love like fashion, makeup, skincare… My passion would have to be children. Perhaps my field of study has enhanced this passion but if I could give every child in the world a mother and father to love them, a home to sleep in, and an education to help them grow then I would be a happy soul. I think about motherhood a lot and all the things I would want to do for my own children one day. I keep telling myself I need to write down all my ideas so that I remember them for when the time comes but yeah basically I find myself thinking about children a lot (not my own) but how children talk, behave and how they may feel and it makes me want to do everything I can to make every child I come across happy. I just truly believe that our youth are the ones that carry the power to keep changing the world. I think it is so important to provide them with love and nurture and I feel like parents are neglecting quality time with their children more and more these days. I don’t know if this even makes sense… I ramble a lot when it comes to this subject and I probably sound border line crazy haha but yup. I’ll just keep it at that.

What do you think about overcoming fears?

I think of it as something I need to learn how to do. It’s scary, I’m already an anxious person as it is and placing my own self in situations that are outside my comfort zone is not easy for me at all.

What do you think about expressing yourself through fashion?

I think it’s great. I think it’s a part of me that I love and want to grow, however I don’t want it to define me.

In less than five words, what defines you?

I know this is bad but shy is all that comes to my mind. I can’t find 4 more words right now.  I think it is one of the first things that other people would say about me too if you asked them.

Summer or Winter?

Winter for sure. Nothing beats that first snow fall and sitting by the window and watching everything you see , all the colour around you turn into white. Maybe I also love winter because it gives me reasons to stay at home.

What is your dream travel destination?

                     Greece for sure.

Name one thing you want to do before you die.

I want to visit shanghai and Hong Kong. my dad loved China. He always promised he would take me to China one day and even though that’s not going to happen anymore, I still want to go and carry his picture in my pocket and visit all the places he loved in China and have my photograph taken in all the same places he went to.

Could you live without internet connection for a week?

Not going to lie, it will be a struggle. But give me pile of good books and I promise you I’ll survive.

Name an experience you had and would like to repeat once again.

Summer 2008. Going on a spontaneous trip to the apple farm with my dad and his sister that came to visit us from Syria. We continued our journey to the beach and we walked around the beach barefoot and admired all the peoples beach homes and posed in front of them pretending they belonged to us. Or any of the road trips I took with my father. We went on a lot of family road trips when I was growing up, but my favourite were the ones I took with my father alone.

and honestly I've just always been attracted to greeces architecture, the water looks so blue and how in some greek islands the buildings and homes are all white. and I can't forget to mention the sisterhood of the travelling pants series and books made me obsessed with Greece with a long time ago haha!

It can be seen that you are so pasionate about children, just saying that is the answer in wich you have written the most ;) I touched me the way you talked about your father, and how you love those road trips with him, and the fact that you would go to the places he visited in China just to feel and know more about him was really beautiful. xx
